The Dark Knight ranks #1 on IMDB

I just wanted to show how well The Dark Knight is doing on IMDB. Ranked #1, voted there by 135,443 people, giving it an average rating of 9.3! It's beating out Godfather and Shawshank Redemption!

Movie Review: The Dark Knight

I watched the movie last night out in the suburbs. It was, phenomenal, best Batman movie yet! The best part of the movie is what too many comic to movie adaptations lack: story and character development.

Heath Ledger took the role of Joker to a new level over Jack Nicholson. Darker, more violent, and more insane. Watching Ledger portray Joker was a bit creepy as to how he was able to convey how absolutely insane the character is. I don't know about giving him an Oscar for it, but I would say that he should win an MTV best villain award.

Christian Bale is the best Batman and Bruce Wayne to date. He plays both so perfectly. Previous to taking on this role, I felt that Michael Keaton was the best Batman, and Val Kilmer the best Bruce Wayne. Batman, needs to be dark, tough, and a great detective. Bruce Wayne, needs to be filthy rich and a playboy. Bale delivers both very very well.

Special mention to Aaron Eckhart for his role as Harvey Dent, and Gary Oldman as Lt. James Gordon. What an all-star cast!

My Depaul Classes (Graduate)

My Depaul Students webpage doesn't seem to be rendering my php webpage anymore. I no longer have access to that web server, so I cannot login and fix it. So I thought I would place it all into this blog for safekeeping.

***Update 7/10/2008- I just noticed that Depaul CTI is no more, it's Depaul CDM! So all my class links are broken! Oh well.
